Happy New Year to all International Links Golf Club members and prospective club members from your Club Staff.  Here's hoping we all celebrate 2011 with health, happiness and prosperity.

Two great golf facilities have been added early in 2011; one in the United States and one in Israel. First, we are extremely happy to welcome Westfields Golf Club, a great Fred Couples design in the Washington D.C. area. Now visitors to our nation's capital have access to two great facilities; Westfields and The Golf Club at Lansdowne.  Second, international travelers to Israel will be able to play at Caesarea in Tel Aviv.  Remodeled by Pete Dye in 2009, Caesarea hosts the Israel Open each year and is widely considered to be the greatest golf course in the country.

In addition to constantly seeking out the best golf experiences around the world for our members we, as the club staff, are diligently working to enhance your membership value in the world's greatest golf club.  As you entered our "virtual" clubhouse you may have noticed a new association for the club.  In 2011 we could not be more proud to announce a new affiliation with the American Cancer Society.  For each new member joining in 2011 and for each existing member rejoining International Links we will make a substantial donation to the American Cancer Society.  There isn't anyone whose life has not been impacted by this awful disease and we are committed to providing the ACS with assistance as they seek to, not only find a cure, but also provide care and counsel to those impacted by cancer.  We hope that you will let your friends know that International Links not only provides a great golf club for its members but also is striving to give something back to the general community. We look forward to developing our relationship with the ACS and will keep you, our members, apprised of what we are doing and how you may help us and the American Cancer Society continue the fight.

Your use of the club's services is how you measure the real value of membership and we are here to provide those many services.
